Hi, a new developer here... I'm Dave Varga from New York Life and just downloaded Flypaper. A few quesitons please... I am interested in using Flypaper to develop flash objects to be inserted into single pages of an elearning course. That is one Flypaper story per page. Is this possible? Can the free version output the story files in such a way that I can import those files into my elearning course? thx...

Hi Dave,
The short answer is yes.
Save your story as a video, (.flv .mpg or .mp4) you can then inert that into your other work.
If you would like to maintain the interactive nature of a flypaper story though, you would need to save as a Web Story or E Learning, and both of those formats require you to upgrade to Pro.

A few more questions... OK, so I save the output as a flv or web story, and that flv or 'website' can be inserted into, let's say a Lectora slide... right? (with Pro version) Also, in reading the guide, are all flypaper viewables needing to be viewed with adobe flash player version 9 and above? Also, fonts. I notice that a lot of my true type fonts are not appearing in the font drop down, like for example, verdana. Is there a way in which I could add that true type font so that flypaper can use it? Thanks for your help! Dave

Thanks for your help! Dave Hi Dave, I am not familiar with Lectora, but if it outputs html files then you should be able to insert the files from the Web Story publish. The flv would have to be loaded by a video player swf. The output does require Flash player 9 or above. Due to licensing issues we can only package certain fonts with the application. We hope to provide a feature to use any font on your computer in the future, but for now you should try to find one of the packaged fonts that matches closely to Verdana. Steve
