If you set the search location in the drop down box for Templates to Community it should return search results. If not you may want to make sure your firewall is not blocking anything.

FYI... To reduce the installation size of Flypaper we included only 5 templates in the installer, so when you first install there will only be 5 templates on your computer. The rest of the Flypaper templates are on flypaper.net. When you first open the Flybrary, it searches both your computer and flypaper.net for the latest templates. As long as you are connected to the internet and are not being blocked by proxy settings, firewalls or other issues, you should quickly see 300 or so templates appear in the Flybrary. If not, see the answer to the FAQ "check your internet connection".

I'm on Windows Vista - I launch using Run As Administrator, and I've changed my connection settings as suggested. But still I only get 5 templates. Is there any way to download the templates manually from the flypaper website?

Flypaper is not set up to download the templates manually. This keeps everything as current as possible.

If you are still only seeing 5 templates, try checking your firewall, and your anti-virus. Either of these could be blocking you. Just set community.flypaper.net as a trusted site, and see if this fixes it.

If not, post back here and we will look into it further with you.

I am connected to the internet and the flybrary searches, but only comes back with 14 templates. Definitely not 300.

I add community.flypaper.net to my save sites, but still no templates. Do I need to anything additional when I launch Flypaper the first time after adding community.flypaper.net to my save sites to get the templates to appear, or should it be automatic?

Still no luck with the templates - I've tried all fixes in the detailed link provided. When I click on my user name within the flypaper application I get access to the community.flypaper.net site, but still, only 5 templates. Is it because of Vista? Are there other Vista users that can't get access?

I'm a Vista user, and it flypaper says 329 templates and page 1 of 55, but when I scoll down in the preview area, I only see 6 different templates than the default ones. There's no arrows or buttons to advance to the next pages. I think this inappropriate term.

If you move the vertical divider bar to the left, you should have more space in the list of Templates. There should also be blue Preview and Next links that allow you to navigate the list of Templates.
